Handcrafted by Shannon Irish Collectors' Dolls of Dublin, Ireland, this musical porcelain doll "Kathleen" is hand-finished in a beautiful velvet gown adorned with Irish shamrocks. Her head, arms and legs are meticulously crafted in the finest porcelain. Her glass eyes are hand-set, and her beautiful facial features are lovingly painted by hand. Kathleen is a musical doll with movement-- her head and right arm gently move as her music box plays "When Irish Eyes are Smiling."

Kathleen's Story: Kathleen is a true Irish colleen, with her thick flowing red hair and her sparkling emerald green eyes. She wears a beautiful green velvet gown trimmed with embroidered shamrocks-- the lucky three-leafed clovers that bring you "the luck of the Irish." She gently moves to that beautiful Irish melody... "When Irish eyes are smiling, sure it's like a morn in spring. With a lilt of Irish laughter, you can hear the angels sing. When Irish hearts are happy, all the world seems bright and gay, and when Irish eyes are smiling, sure they'd steal your heart away..."

Kathleen is finished from head to toe, with green satin bloomers and lace underneath her gown. She sits on a wind-up musical box, with movement of her head and arm as the melody plays.
