Celtic jewelry made in Ireland by Solvar Jewellery, Dublin. A sterling silver and green enamel Irish shamrock highlighted with marcasite. This pendant hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain.

This beautiful shamrock pendant is a classic design of a very traditional and beloved Irish symbol.

Legend tells us that Saint Patrick picked a small shamrock growing near his feet to explain the concept of the Christian Trinity to his follwers-- three distinct leaves yet all in one plant. Over the centuries, the shamrock has become synonymous with things Irish, and to this day bunches of shamrock are worn on Saint Patrick's Day by Irish all over the world.

Assayed and hallmarked at Dublin Castle, Ireland. The pendant comes presented in a Solvar gift box.
