The traditional three-sided Irish "Trinity Knot" is a design often found on carved stone crosses or in the highly decorated borders of illuminated religious manuscripts, such as the Book of Kells and the Book of Durrow.

This cross is 2 inches high and over 1/8 of an inch in thickness, so it has good weight and a dimensional feel. To complement the main design on the face of the cross, small Trinity Knots have also been engraved on each of the sides of the cross.
